We take pride in serving a variety of homecooked food that caters to a wide range of tastes, including delicious options for gluten free and vegetarian diners. We’re renowned for our exceptional fish & chips and our homemade steak pie, as well as our famous Sunday carvery. In fact, we have guests who travel up to 50 miles just to savour these culinary delights. Due to the popularity of our dishes, we highly recommend making a reservation to secure your table. We have a lunch menu, light bites, evening menu & Chef specials, afternoon teas, children’s menu, themed foodie evenings – indeed, there’s something for every appetite size and taste.
We offer gift vouchers so you can treat someone special for a birthday, anniversary or just to say thank you; the gift of home cooked food and drink but without the pots, pans, marigold gloves and scrubbing!

Our restaurant, lounge and bar offer a wide selection of delicious dishes, all freshly prepared with locally sourced ingredients. From hot bar snacks, warming light bites for walkers & cyclists, through to our lunchtime & evening menus, weekend Chef specials, light bite special offers, afternoon teas, as well as seasonal celebration menus & events like Burns Night, Valentine’s, Mother’s & Father’s Day, Easter & Christmas – we are a home from home for all seasons!

Afternoon Teas at The Haven
The loveliest way to catch up and spend quality time together. Our current Springtime menu selection runs until 31st May and then we will change to the new season. We have a Vegetarian version, Children’s version and also a brand new lighter version called our “High Tea” still served on our beautifully laid table with vintage China.
Plus, we also offer seasonal variations too, so coming up we have our Mother’s Day afternoon tea (with takeaway & delivery versions available too!)
